Workshops
How much do the workshops cost, and what are the payment options?
Workshop classes start at PHP 13,000, with prices varying by class:
- Meisner Technique 1: PHP 13,000
- Theater Arts: PHP 15,000
- Acting 1: PHP 15,000
- Creative Musical Theater: PHP 16,000
You can pay in installments, which will be detailed by our Account Manager via email after your interview. Payment options include in-person, bank transfer, or cheque deposit.
Do I need prior experience or an audition to join?
No, prior experience is not required for most classes! Our workshops are beginner-friendly. We highly recommend the Theater Arts class for those new to theater or those returning after a long break.
An audition (required video vocal test and audition piece) is only required for applicants to the Creative Musical Theater class and must be submitted with your registration form.
Who can join the workshops (age requirements)?
Our Workshop Weekends cycles are open to adults aged 18 and above, including senior citizens. Workshops for kids and teens are currently only offered during our Summer Workshop cycles.
What should I expect from the interview process?
Interviews are conducted individually and typically won’t take longer than 15 minutes. It’s a casual conversation where we get to know you and your background. Just be yourself!
If you haven’t heard back from us within a week after your interview, please contact Yel at 0960-240-0897. Should you not pass the desired class, our Account Manager may recommend a different class better suited to your skill level or place you on the waitlist if the class is full.
What is the policy on attendance, refunds, and transferring a slot?
Attendance: You are allowed a maximum of TWO (2) absences. Two lates/tardies count as one absence. More than two absences may result in removal from the class or receiving only a Certificate of Participation.
Refunds: Workshop fees are non-refundable. By paying the initial installment, you commit to attending all scheduled dates.
Transferring/Deferment: Workshop slots are NON-TRANSFERRABLE to a different person. However, you may defer your slot to the next workshop cycle for valid reasons (e.g., medical or death in the family), provided your class is offered again.
What can I expect in the workshop (content, language, and venue rules)?
You’ll participate in theater games, physical, and creative exercises. The main goal is to rehearse for your class’s showcase, which serves as the culminating activity, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration.
Workshops are conducted in a mix of English and Filipino.
Parents and guardians will not be allowed inside the workshop venue; designated waiting areas are on the first and second floors of the theater. Please also indicate on the enrollment form if you will need a parking space.
